In collaboration with the Junior Chamber International ( Singapore ), South East CDC organised the South East Executive Development Series (SEDs) in 2007, a three-month programme to equip young working adults with life skills. SEDs has successfully engaged 70 working adults aged 25-35, who have bonded through regular interaction during the programme's training modules and social activities.
The main objective of SEDs is to engage young working adults beyond their interests and encourage them to reach out to the less fortunate segment of the community. Following the programme, 30 of these young working adults initiated two community projects to benefit the elderly and needy families within the South East District.
