The Under One Roof Grant was rolled out in November 2005 to support our
community partners in carrying out sustainable family activities over a one
to three year period. A total of 13 groups have benefited from the grant.
Among the grant recipients was MacPherson Moral Family Service Centre‘s (FSC)‘The More We Bond Together’ programme which engaged families in series of
family bonding and counseling activities. This programme has successfully
engaged 5 families who come back regularly as family volunteers to help
out at the FSC’s event.
Sand City is another fun-filled family activity. South East CDC will be conducting more sessions of sandcastle building instead of a one-off event to promote more interaction and bonding within the family unit and among family units.Do join us for South East Sand City 4. See you there!
