The South East Community Development Council (CDC) is pleased to launch a new initiative to engage residents in the South East District through sports and towards a healthy lifestyle. Brisk walking is a simple activity which is able to gather the mass community, people from all walks of life (all ages, races, culture and background) in coming together, for working out and bonding purposes.
Brisk walking is also broadly known to be a relaxing, refreshing and enlivening form of exercise, which has low risk in side effects and reaps innumerable benefits. In a buzzling country like Singapore, especially with an aging population, it is definitely beneficial for residents in the South East disrtict to take up an absolute low-cost activity such as brisk walking.
The Team South East Brisk Walking Clubs would provide a platform, making it easier and more fun for residents to take up brisk walking. The South East CDC will mark out exciting trail routes within South East district and eventually around Singapore for brisk walkers to explore and have fun with fellow members.
So, join the Team South East Brisk Walking Clubs today. Sign up at your nearest Community Centre (CC) today or click here for the application form and bring to your nearest CC.
